Coco is Ready for a Winter Break!

Celebrating Halloween with Coco and The Cupcake Doctor!

We are so excited for the sweet-centered holidays, and Halloween is definitely no exception!  We can put together lots of fun and spooky treats for your Halloween parties, be they for the kiddos or the folks at work!  Be sure to get those orders in soon, as our calendar fills up around the end of the month. 

Our shop also holds an annual Trick-or-Treat, where anyone in costume can come in Halloween afternoon/evening to claim a free festive mini-cupcake.  We wish everyone a fun and safe holiday! 

Almost the end of the season for Coco!

Hi guys!  Coco would love to be able to serve delicious amazing gourmet cupcakes year-round, but as the weather cools off, so will her schedule.  She is still making some regular parks, so be sure to get out and see her while you can!  As the holiday season approaches, we'll make some local event-centered parks too, including for the giant pumpkin festival in Old Colorado City on October 18th:

We'll be parked at local children's shop staple Mountain Moppets.  We'll keep you in the loop about other big events on Facebook and Twitter.  Many of our regular stops have needed to shuffle around, and we'll look for some new parks over the winter so we can come back with a regular park schedule, bigger and better than ever, next year!

You can still book Coco for holiday events; she is a perfect way to thank employees, entertain the kids, or just throw a heck of a party.  If you have something in mind, be sure to give a call at 719-271-0990.  If you are a business looking to book for a holiday party, be sure to get those orders in soon!  All bookings will come with the caveat that Coco does not drive in snowy weather, but we are always happy to sub in our Cupcambulance with a load full of your delicious treats for a lower cost at your event.

Coco helps The Cupcake Doctor celebrate 3 Years!

Coco's new family at The Cupcake Doctor is celebrating their 3-year business anniversary this weekend, and they'll be running specials in the home bake-shop at 6455 Omaha Blvd on Saturday and Monday of Labor Day weekend!  Coco will be tossing in freebies and doing some random merchandise giveaways at her Saturday stops, and treats will be discounted in the shop as well.  Tune in to Facebook and Twitter for all the details!  Congratulations to The Cupcake Doctor and the Cupcake Fleet!!!  We can't wait to continue serving our customers the best in gourmet treats for years to come.

Coco participates in the #ALSicebucketchallenge!

The Cupcake Doctor was doubly nominated to participate in the 2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge last week, and after a successful double-dunking she nominated other local small businesses Radiantly Raw, Mountain Pie Company, and Coco the Springs Cupcake Truck to participate and donate for the challenge.

Coco happily took on the challenge at American Storage, and graciously nominated our hosts there to participate.  That was quite a splash!  But she's one of few folks who enjoy an ice bath.  :)

Our friends at Radiantly Raw (Alan Mosher) and Mountain Pie Company (Matt Campbell) rose to the #ALSIceBucketChallenge!  Thanks everyone for the support, and don't forget to donate online at the ALS website (http://www.alsa.org/).

Coco put herself together a CONVOY...

And it was a fantastic time for all!  With the support of all her new friends, Coco made the trek from the shop to Academy, to Briargate, to Garden of the Gods, downtown, to Tinseltown, to Fountain, and finally back to the bakery, spreading some sweet cupcake love all over the Springs!  Thanks again to everyone who came out to enjoy discounted treats, free T-shirts, cake-pops and more, we had such a good time.  Once we've sorted through all of our and fan pics, we'll post the best ones!  We may have to make this an annual thing...  ;o)

Coco Leads the Way in our Cupcake Convoy July 26th! :o)

Looks like we've got ourselves a CONVOY...  For the first time ever, on Saturday July 26th, our entire Cupcake Doctor fleet, complete with newly-renovated Coco The Springs Cupcake Truck at point, will hit the road together to deliver the best gourmet treats all over Colorado Springs!  This cupcake convoy will feature discounts, freebies, merchandise giveaways, photo ops, a radio remote with K*Lite 106.3, and more!

10am - noon: Radio remote at Jump N' Jacks

12:30 - 1:30pm: Briargate & Voyager interX
                    please park at Shops of Promenade and
                    take walkway to horse statues!

We will fill in more details next week!  For now we know that with a purchase of 6 or more cupcakes, we'll give you two cupcakes free!  We'll also be raffling off T-shirts and mugs at each stop (get a ticket with every 4+ purchased!).  And we're going to be giving away cake-pops and balloons for the kiddos.  Can't wait to see you all there!

Our only goals are to have some fun and show some appreciation for our amazing customers!  We're going to have a lot of personnel on hand to make sure we stick to the schedule.  Of course, things may come up along the way but the show WILL go on, with or without any given member of the fleet. ;) We have plans in place to keep us stocked, so get ready for some amazing treats to make your Saturday sweet!

Coco gets a Makeover!

Coco is parked briefly as she gets some much-needed interior work done, which includes a new dash complete with functioning gauges!  The gauges should help prevent future mechanical issues and give you guys a more reliable Cupcake Truck experience.  We can't wait to see the finished product!  :o) 

Coco will be back and better than ever in the next week!

It's always disappointing when you put your trust in a business, and they don't conduct their business with the care and service that you would.  Unfortunately, we trusted Coco to a garage that proved to be careless and irresponsible.  Fortunately, we've found a couple local businesses that are working together to undo the damage and get Coco back on the road with your favorite mobile treats!  Definitely show these places some love--without their support we would have had to park Coco for the year.  Special thanks to The Mile High Car Company for finding the pieces, and Springs Auto & Truck Service for performing the installation.  The world is such a nicer place when we all practice the golden rule!

Coco's a Web-Comic Star!

Our web-comic has made it's Father's Day debut!  This series will feature the entire Cupcake Doctor fleet, of which Coco is a special member.  You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at what the life of a cupcake-mobile is all about, and we're so excited to share some of their adventures with you.  This is the link to check out as the series progresses:

Check out the updates to our flavor page for a quick summary of flavors!  We'll be cranking & alternating new ones all the time, so every Truck stop will bring you something new &delicious to try.

Did we mention that we'll be hitting new spots this year?  We're keeping some of the classic parks, like Tinseltown and Briargate&Voyager, but we've moved to Quality Inn on Wednesdays on Garden of the Gods, we're at the Bank of Colorado or the Antlers Hilton when we're downtown, and we're investigating a permanent park in Fountain too!

Stop by and say hi when we're in the area!  We'll "treat" you well...  :o)  We hope to post a more regular schedule soon, but Coco's a popular lady and she's always getting asked to appear in other places too!  We'll keep you in the loop with more frequent posts.

Coco's Debut Was a Big Hit!

Folks in Tinseltown and Briargate welcomed her back with open arms, and she was so flattered...we're taking your feedback on Facebook about where and when you'd like to see her around the city, so chime in while you can!  Her "regular" weather-permitting schedule will be released soon, and she can't wait to see you all again and serve more of the best sweet treats in the Springs.
